Quinn confirms end of Rochester affiliation

It's over between the Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans. What turned into something of a messy divorce has come to a head. Sabres' managing partner Larry Quinn told the Buffalo News yesterday "That’s over. We’re going to go elsewhere." The Sabres cite their desire to have more control over the development of their players.
